The Leadership Council for Human Rights (LCHR) promotes information and action campaigns on behalf of ethnic and religious minorities, women, and other populations living under threat. LCHR conducts outreach to bring together groups and individuals, elevating the human rights agenda and increasing effectiveness on key issues through inclusive coalition-building. LCHR’s philosophy, “feet in the mud, head in the sky,” illustrates our commitment to working on the ground with real people and bringing the stories of their struggles to decision makers in Washington, D.C. and around the world. A voice for the voiceless, LCHR aims to “ground truth” human rights violations and cast light on hidden injustices. LCHR’s projects are as varied as the groups we seek to serve.
